Foiling Flower Munching Deer In Valley Cottage

My garden has been the Didier Dumas of deer patisseries for many years now. My flowers grow these beautiful buds, I go to bed expecting an amazing bloom come morning, only to find a snipped off stalk rather than the colorful floral treat I was hoping for. I have tried cayenne pepper, wolf urine, dial soap, and various other foul smelling deterrents, all to no avail. Well maybe I have the solution this time to the Clarkstown deer problem at last. A motion activated water sprinkler head. When ANYTHING moves near my garden, it will be immediately hit with a blast of water and a nerve rattling noise. No harm is done to the intruder, but I may finally get to enjoy my “oh so special” tea cup deep purple roses, daylilies, hostas, and especially my tulip & Iris beds.
