Lafayette Theatre in Suffern, NY will be hosting their Gala 90th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday March 2, 2014.  The celebration will include the 75th edition of the Wizard of Oz in 3-D.  But what is truly exciting is that they will be charging only 25 cents for admission, I wonder if this is what the cost was 90 years ago.  The movie will begin at 2pm, but the doors open at 1pm.  The theatre was opened on March 3, 1924 and is one of the oldest movie theatres in the country.  The Lafayette shows new release movies as well as the classics.  The tickets cannot be purchased ahead of time, so don't be late.  The Lafayette is located at 97 Lafayette Ave., Suffern, NY.  Enjoy!!
