Winter Farmers Market Palisades

Now that the hustle bustle of the holidays are behind me, I'm looking forward to settling in after work and relaxing in the evenings. One of my favorite relaxing acivities is cooking. I love to read recipes from cookbooks and magazines and then prepare meals like soups and stews that I don't usually prepare in the warmth of spring and summer.

However in the spring and summer I love to take advantage of the Farmer's Markets in Nyack and Piermont to buy fresh produce, and when they close by Thanksgiving, I feel a big void. My spirits were lifted today when I got the email from the Palisades Community Center Newsletter that the Palisades Winter Indoors Farmer's maket will re-open at the Palisades Community Center on Saturday January 14, from 9am-1pm.

I can't wait to see some of my favorite vendors and what fresh local produce and other food items they have to offer.

Tell all your friends to come to Palisades on Saturdays throughout the winter to support the Indoor Farmer's Market.
