Village of Haverstraw Streetscape Part Deux

Good afternoon everybody! How are you today? On May 11, 2009, I posted the this video on Youtube about Streetscape in the Village of Haverstraw. At that time it appeared that even though the economic downturn had occurred nationally, Haverstraw was still going to get the funds it needed to drastically change Main St. and Broadway. New lights as well as trees and benches were supposed to line the village streets with newness and cleanliness, something that the village of Haverstraw sorely misses now. Peep this video if haven't all ready. However, last year the government of the Village of Haverstraw lost the opportunity to get millions of dollars because they could not get on the same page as the engineer and other local authorities so the project was not shovel ready. Now, I've heard every excuse in the book about this one and most of them are legit however, I still think the job did not get done, period. Yesterday, almost 2 full years after this video was posted and nearly 2,500 views, (In this video I incorrectly say that 5,000 people viewed the video) I decided to take another video of what Haverstraw looks like now, because since nothing is happening we have make good with what we have, and what we have is a beautiful, cozy, river front village that has real American history. The video got cut short because I shot the video on my HTC Incredible and I received a phone call, I need to turn off that setting, until next time...
