School's out, summer is here, and it's time to play. But what do you do with your elementary school age children who are not in camp? The Valley Cottage library has a multitude of activities planned for the summer and beyond. There are book clubs for children entering grade K-1 and 2-6. The books are available at the children's reading room. It's a great way to stay connected to reading and to  be prepared for re-entry in September.

Also there are LEGOs days where kids can get together and create either individually, or within a group.

Also, there are programs for kids age 5 and younger like Open Playtime, Summer Babies, TIme for Toddlers, Pre-K Super Stories, Hot Diggity Dog Music, Kindergarten, Prep Melinda's Music and more.

Contact the Valley Cottage library at 845-268-7700, or www.vclib.org to see a list of programs and activities for kids of all ages and enjoy the summer!
