Here's a great way to safely dispose of important papers:  Between 4:30pm and 7:30 pm today, Tuesday, Orangetown residents can bring papers to be shredded to Town Hall at 26 Orangetown Road in Orangeburg.  Someone from the clerks office will be available to help you with your boxes and put the papers through the big shredder.  In addition, there will be representatives from animal control to help with dog licenses and questions and County Clerk Paul Piperato will be there to help with passport applications from 3pm -6pm.
