Summer is coming to an end in Nyack

I can't believe it is nearly the end of August!  Where did the summer months fly off to?

I must admit that I have a love/hate relationship with summer.  I love the ability to leave the windows open and have fresh air in the house. I hate the excessive heat & humidity that make me close the house up and turn on the air conditioning.  I love the warmth and the smell of freshly cut grass.  I hate having to mow the grass. I love the sounds of people being outside, walking & talking, practicing their music, playing basketball.  I hate when it goes on late at night.  See -  Love/Hate!

So, now that summer is winding down, we'll move into fall, which is probably my favorite season. The cool, crisp air, the ability to wear a combination of shorts and sweatshirts (weird, I know), the beautiful scenery with the changing of the leaves, but the shorter days that are a harbinger of the winter months coming. But, it is a beautiful time to get outdoors and enjoy all that Nyack, Piermont, and the surrounding areas have to offer!
